Zeppelin Group to exhibit its latest drive solutions at Agritechnica

The Zeppelin Power Systems business unit set to showcase Cat engines that comply with EU Stage V emission standards

Zeppelin Power Systems, the official partner to Caterpillar, is presenting its latest generation of engines from November 12 to 18, at Agritechnica trade fair in Hanover. The experts in drive and engine systems will be at stand D10 in Hall 16, providing information about Cat engines, as well as EU Stage V emission standards which will apply from 2019, and customized, integrated solutions. Visitors will also be able to seek advice about electric drives for agricultural equipment.

Zeppelin Power Systems will be showcasing three selected exhibits, the C13B, the C2.8 and the C9.3B industrial diesel engines. These can be used in a number of sectors and applications such as agriculture and forestry, fruit harvesting, earthmoving and for irrigation systems; they comply both with EU Stage V emissions standards (applicable from January 1, 2019), and EPA tier 4 final for off-highway machines and vehicles. The C13B which will be presented for the first time will be on offer with nominal outputs of 340-430 kW and speed of 1800-2100 rpm, while the C9.3B will have 250-340 kW at 1800-2200 rpm. The C2.8 is available with nominal outputs of 45 55 kW at 2500 rpm. When visiting the stand, visitors will also be able to inspect a vintage Holder tractor which has been converted and fitted with electric drive, and to talk about eMobility. Zeppelin Power Systems is currently working on a number of different projects within the field of electrification, and these will involve exciting product innovations in the future.
